Special Issues

This magazine is dedicated to the cause of propagation and propaganda of Ayurved. It is being published since 1947. Different Articles discussing Ayurvedic science are published in it. A special issue is published every year. Diagnostic methods for selected patients discussed in this. Due publicity is given to the various events to the happening in the field of Ayurvedic medicine.

In order to make available the references and information of medical research at the universal level to the medical professionals; Project of setting up an up-to-date reference library and Information Center is being undertaken on behalf of the Ayurved Patrika.

c) To lead the debate on Ayurveda & Research.
d) To help Ayurvedic Doctors to upgrade their knowledge.
e) To achieve the highest level of ethical medical journalism.

Ayurved Patrika is a National Journal & the only Scientific Magazine which is being published uninterruptedly since last 63 years. On 18th July 1947, 1st issue was published by Ayurved Seva Sangha, Nashik. The very first editor & founder member was Late Vd. Bindu Madhav Pandit in the aim of incorporating disperse Ayurvedic doctors & their knowledge to propagate Ayurveda. From 1947 this magazine is constantly publishing without any interruption. Upto 1964, it was published fortnightly & then as monthly edition till date.

Respected Editors were - Late Vd Bindumadhav Pandit (10yrs), Late Vd S.D. Kulkarni (2yrs), Late Vd G.B.Kamat (10 yrs), Late Vd V.M.Gogate (5yrs), Late Vd. S.K. Karamarkar (10yrs), Vd Swanand .S.Pandit (12yrs), Vd V.M.Kulkarni (13yrs), and now its second inning of Vaidya Swanand S.Pandit is going on & on.
Some of the well known Vaidyas from Nasik helped Ayurved Patrika for grooming & resulted that now it has become a ‘National Journal’ ranking in the list published by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
If we take a look at index, it has 40 different captions under which about 7000 articles are published. These captions take review of Basic Principles, Applied Ayurveda, & Social Aspects of Ayurveda viz. Clinics, Ayurved manufacturing, Panchakarma, Botanical Aspects, Ayurvedic Medicine, Ayurved News, Research etc. Under these captions senior practicing Vaidyas as well as freshers & students also wrote articles & their experiences, research papers to make it a complete one. We have 1300 respected writers with us now.
Ayurved Patrika is now become so popular as a pathfinder for successful practice that more than 2400 practicing Vaidya & students are regular readers.
